Payment Methods for Custom Tire Cover Orders

Szoneier links every project payment to an approved quotation or proforma invoice, verified beneficiary information, and a traceable order reference before funds are sent. Payment routes and commercial terms are confirmed for the actual project rather than assumed from an old order or an unofficial message.
  • 4 checkpoints: Quote -> PI -> Verification -> Finance Confirmation
  • Separate records for sample, bulk, shipment, and repeat-order stages
  • Independent verification required for unexpected bank-detail changes
  • Payment release tied to the correct PO / PI reference

How the Szoneier Payment Process Works

A reliable payment process should make it obvious what the customer is paying for, which commercial document controls the transaction, who the beneficiary is, and what project stage will be released after finance confirms the funds. Szoneier separates quotation, payment instruction, financial confirmation, and manufacturing release so payment is not handled as an informal extension of an email conversation.

Quotation and Commercial Scope

The process starts with an approved commercial scope: product type, tire or vehicle range, artwork, material, quantity, packaging, sample requirements, shipping term, and any testing or special execution. The quotation establishes the commercial basis but should not be treated as permission to send funds to account details copied from an unrelated or historical transaction.

Official Proforma Invoice

Once the project is ready for a payment milestone, Szoneier issues or confirms the project document that carries the order reference, invoice currency, amount, payment instruction, and beneficiary details applicable to that transaction. Procurement and finance teams should use the current official PI or equivalent approved document as the payment reference.

Beneficiary Verification

Before funds are sent, the customer checks that the beneficiary and payment details correspond to the official project document. If any account detail differs from an earlier order, or an unexpected email requests a change, the new information should be independently verified through a known Szoneier contact channel before payment.

Finance Confirmation and Project Release

After payment is sent, the remittance reference or bank receipt can be matched to the PO / PI. Szoneier finance confirms the received payment according to the agreed commercial record. The project then moves to the next approved stage – sample development, material purchasing, production, or shipment release – once both the payment condition and the required technical approvals are satisfied.

Payment Methods Are Confirmed on the Official Project Documents

Szoneier does not treat an old invoice, a website icon, or an informal message as a permanent payment instruction. The payment route available for a project is confirmed on the current quotation, proforma invoice, or other approved commercial document. This keeps the page accurate even when banking arrangements, currencies, account eligibility, order values, or customer-specific commercial conditions change.

Use the Current Payment Instruction

The method shown on the active project document is the method procurement should follow. If a requested payment channel does not appear on the official instruction, the customer should ask Szoneier finance or the established project contact to confirm whether it is available before sending funds.

Payment Method Is Not Payment Term

The payment method describes how funds move. The payment term describes when a payment becomes due and what commercial milestone it releases. Two projects may use the same payment route while having different sample, production, shipment, or repeat-order milestones. Szoneier keeps these two concepts separate in the commercial documents.

Project Conditions Can Change the Available Route

Order value, invoice currency, destination market, banking compliance, customer account requirements, and the nature of the transaction can affect which payment route is appropriate. For that reason, Szoneier confirms the usable method for the actual PO instead of publishing unsupported promises that every channel is available for every customer.

Sample Payment for Tire Cover Development

Sample payment should correspond to the development work being requested. An existing reference sample, a standard custom printed cover, a vehicle-fitment sample, a new camera-compatible pattern, and a special-material prototype do not create the same development cost or schedule. Szoneier confirms the sample scope first, then issues the applicable sample quotation or PI so the customer knows what is included before payment.

Define the Sample Before Paying

The commercial scope can identify whether the project includes artwork preparation, custom printing, new pattern work, vehicle or tire fitment, backup-camera reinforcement, special material sourcing, custom packaging, testing, and courier delivery. This avoids a vague sample charge that later expands because the physical prototype was expected to solve requirements that were never included.

Sample Timing Starts From More Than Payment

A typical standard custom sample can be planned in about 3-5 working days after artwork, material, size, and construction information are sufficiently confirmed. Existing vehicle-pattern fitment samples are commonly around 4-7 working days, while a new vehicle-pattern development sample can require about 7-12 working days. Payment confirmation alone does not replace missing artwork, vehicle data, or technical approval.

Credits, Waivers, and Refunds Must Be Written

Any sample-cost credit, waiver, refund, or application toward a later bulk order is based on the confirmed quotation or PI for that project. Generic assumptions do not override the written terms because the development work can vary substantially between projects. CTA 1: Request Sample PI CTA 2: Confirm Sample Scope

Bulk Order Payment Linked to Production Milestones

Bulk-order payment should release clearly defined commercial milestones, not merely mark the moment when money leaves the customer’s bank. Szoneier connects the active PI or agreed order document with the approved product specification, quantity, packaging, shipping term, and payment stage so procurement, finance, and production are working from the same commercial record.
  • CTA 1: Review Bulk Terms
  • CTA 2: Request Bulk PI

Before the First Bulk Payment

The project should be commercially clear enough to identify the product, quantity, active artwork, material, fitment or camera configuration, packaging, delivery term, and any testing or special requirements that affect cost. If critical information is still open, the PI should make the remaining conditions visible rather than allowing the payment to be interpreted as approval of an undefined product.

Production Release

Once the agreed payment milestone has been confirmed and the required technical approvals are complete, Szoneier can release the corresponding production stage. Material procurement, printing, cutting, sewing, assembly, QC, and packing then follow the approved product references. A payment receipt by itself does not authorize the factory to guess an unresolved artwork or tire fitment decision.

Pre-Shipment Commercial Completion

Before cargo release, Szoneier checks the commercial status against the agreed PI or order terms and confirms whether any remaining payment milestone, document, inspection, or shipping instruction is required. The exact payment timing and amount are controlled by the current project documents rather than a universal website percentage.

Partial Shipments

If a large program is released in more than one batch, the payment and shipment records should identify which quantity and SKUs belong to each release. This is especially useful for air-plus-sea splits, rolling production, or multi-destination orders where the commercial status of one batch should not be confused with the balance of the PO.

Repeat-Order Payments Without Reusing Old Terms Blindly

Repeat orders should be faster because the product has already been developed, but the commercial terms still need a current confirmation. Material costs, quantity, packaging, freight arrangements, invoice currency, customer requirements, and banking instructions can change between production cycles. Szoneier therefore issues or confirms a new commercial record for the repeat PO rather than asking finance teams to resend money using an old invoice.

Retrieve the Approved Product First

The repeat-order workflow can retrieve the golden sample, material ID, pattern revision, artwork, camera configuration, packaging, and QC requirements before the new quotation is finalized. This makes sure the price and payment request refer to the same physical product the customer expects to reorder.

Confirm the New Commercial Conditions

Quantity, SKU mix, current pricing, delivery term, production schedule, and payment milestone are reconfirmed for the new PO. Prior commercial terms can be a useful reference, but they should not be treated as permanent if the underlying conditions have changed.

Issue a New Traceable Record

The new PI or approved commercial document receives its own order reference and amount. Finance can then match the transfer to the correct production cycle, which is especially important when a brand has several open orders or different tire-cover programs running at the same time.

Verify the Beneficiary Before Sending Funds

Beneficiary verification is one of the most important controls in an international manufacturing payment. Szoneier provides project-specific payment instructions through the official quotation, proforma invoice, or approved finance communication. Full bank details do not need to be published openly on the website; what matters is that the customer can confirm the legal beneficiary and transaction details before funds are released.

Match the Official Document

Procurement and finance should compare the beneficiary name, invoice currency, amount, order reference, and payment instruction against the current PI. If a field is missing or inconsistent, the payment should be held until the discrepancy is clarified.

Do Not Rely on Copied Historical Details

A bank account used for a previous shipment should not override the instruction on the current verified project document. Historical details are useful for comparison, but they are not a substitute for confirming the active transaction.

Keep Sensitive Banking Data Off Public Pages

Publishing complete account numbers and other sensitive bank information on a public webpage creates unnecessary security exposure and makes copied payment instructions easier to imitate. Szoneier provides the exact beneficiary details through controlled commercial documents connected to the actual order.

Record the PO or PI Reference

Where the payment channel allows a remittance reference, using the relevant PO or PI number helps finance match incoming funds to the correct tire-cover program, especially when the same customer has multiple samples, deposits, balances, or repeat orders in progress.

Payment Security and Bank-Change Verification

International payment fraud often succeeds by imitating a normal supplier conversation and changing only the beneficiary or account details. One rule is clear: an unexpected bank-detail change must be independently verified before payment. Funds should not be transferred merely because a familiar email thread suddenly contains new banking instructions.

Stop on an Unexpected Change & Verify Through a Known Channel

  • If an email or document introduces a different bank, beneficiary, account number, country, or payment route without prior discussion, finance should stop the transfer. The existence of the correct PO number or a copied signature does not prove that the new instruction is authentic.
  • The customer should contact the established Szoneier project representative or another previously verified company channel using contact details already known to the customer. Do not verify a suspicious bank change solely by replying to the same message that requested the change.

Check More Than One Field & Escalate Before Funds Move

  • Compare beneficiary name, order reference, invoice amount, currency, project description, and the history of the commercial discussion. Fraudulent instructions often preserve most of the original document while replacing only the fields needed to redirect payment.
  • When anything is inconsistent, Szoneier finance and the customer’s finance team should resolve it before the transfer is released. A short verification delay is materially safer than trying to recover an international payment after funds have reached an unintended beneficiary.

Invoice Currency and International Bank Charges

The invoice currency and payment amount should come from the active commercial document. International payments can also involve sender-bank fees, correspondent-bank deductions, receiving-bank fees, currency conversion, or other transaction costs depending on the selected route. Szoneier confirms how the project should be settled instead of assuming every bank processes an international payment in the same way.

Use the Invoice Currency

The currency shown on the current PI is the commercial reference for the payment. If the customer wants to use a different currency or local payment route, the change should be agreed before the transfer so exchange rates or conversion fees do not create a short payment or accounting mismatch.

Account for Intermediary Charges

Where a confirmed payment route uses international bank transfer, correspondent or intermediary deductions can cause the amount received to differ from the amount sent. The responsibility for such charges should follow the agreed commercial terms rather than being guessed after finance notices a difference.

Do Not Adjust the Amount Informally

If the customer believes bank charges, credits, overpayments, or previous balances should change the amount due, the adjustment should be documented before the new payment. This keeps the PI, bank receipt, and internal order record aligned.

What Happens After Szoneier Receives Payment

Payment confirmation is a project-control step, not the end of the commercial process. Szoneier matches the received funds to the correct order reference, confirms the applicable milestone, and then releases the next project stage when the technical and commercial prerequisites are complete. This gives procurement a clear answer to the common question: “We have paid – what happens next?”

Send the Payment Reference

The customer can provide the transfer receipt, bank advice, or other payment reference available from the confirmed method. The document should identify the amount, currency, sender, and relevant PO / PI wherever possible.

Finance Matches the Transaction

Szoneier finance checks the incoming payment against the active commercial record. If the amount, currency, beneficiary, or reference does not match, the discrepancy is clarified before the payment is treated as complete.

Project Team Receives Confirmation

Once finance confirms the milestone, the responsible project team can move forward according to the order status. For a sample, that may mean artwork and prototype release. For bulk, it may mean material purchasing or production. For a shipment stage, it may mean cargo release after QC and documentation are ready.

Technical Approvals Still Apply

Payment does not replace product approval. If artwork, fitment, camera geometry, material, packaging, testing, or another critical requirement remains unresolved, Szoneier closes that technical item before the corresponding manufacturing stage proceeds.

Refunds, Credits and Commercial Adjustments

Szoneier handles refunds, credits, overpayments, sample-cost adjustments, cancellations, claim settlements, and order changes through documented commercial decisions. No blanket refund or non-refund rule replaces the confirmed quotation, PI, order stage, work already completed, materials already committed, and any written agreement for the specific project.

Sample Credits

If a sample fee is to be credited against a later bulk order, the condition should be written in the sample quotation or bulk commercial agreement. This prevents one sales conversation from being interpreted as a permanent policy across all product-development programs.

Order Changes After Payment

A quantity, artwork, material, packaging, or fitment change can alter the commercial value of the order. Szoneier records the change through a revised PI, debit, credit, or other agreed commercial record before finance applies the difference.

Claims and Approved Credits

Where a quality or delivery claim results in a commercially approved credit, remake, replacement, or refund, the decision should identify the related PO / PI, affected quantity, agreed remedy, and how the adjustment will be applied to the current or future account.

Cancellation

Cancellation treatment depends heavily on when the request occurs. A project that has not started material purchasing is different from one with custom printed material, completed samples, or finished goods. Any cancellation outcome should therefore follow the written project terms and actual stage rather than a generic sentence on the payment page.

Frequently Asked Questions

The payment method available for a project is confirmed on the current quotation, proforma invoice, or approved finance instruction. Szoneier does not rely on an old invoice or a generic website logo as a permanent payment instruction. If your preferred method is not shown, ask the established Szoneier project contact to confirm whether it is available for the specific order.
Pay only the legal beneficiary and account details shown on the current verified project document. If the beneficiary differs from a previous order, or a message unexpectedly introduces a new account, independently verify the change through a known Szoneier contact channel before sending funds.
The sample payment stage is confirmed after the development scope is defined. Standard custom samples, existing fitment references, new vehicle patterns, camera-compatible development, special materials, packaging, and courier requirements can create different costs and timing. The applicable amount and due stage are shown on the sample quotation or PI.
Bulk payment terms are confirmed for the actual PO and shown on the current commercial documents. Szoneier does not publish an unsupported universal deposit/balance percentage because order value, development status, quantity, customer agreement, and other commercial conditions can differ between projects.
A sample fee is credited, waived, refunded, or retained only according to the confirmed project terms. If a credit toward bulk production is offered, the condition should appear in the quotation, PI, or other written commercial agreement rather than being assumed from another project.
The invoice currency shown on the active PI is the payment reference. If your finance team needs a different currency or payment route, confirm it with Szoneier before transferring funds so exchange rates, intermediary charges, or bank conversion do not create an amount mismatch.
Bank and intermediary charges depend on the confirmed payment route and commercial terms. Where cross-border bank fees apply, the allocation should be agreed in advance. Do not reduce the amount informally because a bank charged a fee unless the adjustment has been confirmed.
Use the current official PI or finance instruction, compare the beneficiary, amount, currency, and order reference, and contact the established Szoneier representative if anything differs from prior records. Complete bank details are better controlled through project documents than published openly on a website.
Do not transfer immediately. Independently verify the change using a previously known Szoneier contact channel. Do not rely only on replying to the same email that introduced the new account. Confirm the beneficiary and transaction details before releasing funds.
Production or sample work begins when the agreed payment milestone has been confirmed and the required technical inputs are ready. Payment alone does not replace missing artwork, material approval, fitment data, camera geometry, packaging instructions, or other critical production information.

Confirm Payment Terms for Your Tire Cover Project

If your procurement or finance team needs to confirm a payment method, beneficiary, invoice, sample charge, bulk milestone, repeat-order record, bank-detail change, or commercial adjustment, send the project reference to Szoneier before transferring funds. We can match the request to the active quotation or PI and clarify the commercial record that should control the transaction. Do not send sensitive banking data through an unverified channel or act on unexpected account changes without independent confirmation.
  • Company / brand name and finance contact
  • PO, quotation, or PI reference if already issued
  • Order type: sample, bulk, shipment, repeat order, or adjustment
  • Invoice amount and currency if already quoted
  • Payment-method or beneficiary question requiring confirmation
  • Copy of the commercial document in question, with sensitive data handled appropriately
  • Any unexpected bank-detail change that needs verification
  • Required invoice or finance document for internal approval
